Total annual income for residents of Sunset Meadows 1 may not exceed $20,250 for a single resident or $23,150 for a couple. Total annual income for residents of Sunset Meadows 2 may not exceed $20,250 for a single resident or $23,150 for a couple. Applicants must be at least 62 years of age, and there is a waiting list for apartments. Seniors may call or e-mail Sunset Meadows management to obtain more information or to be placed on the waiting list at no obligation.
Rent is charged on a sliding scale based on an individual’s income. The following formula is the rule of thumb to compute the approximate monthly rent a tenant will be charged:
Monthly income minus average monthly medical expenses equals total disposable income. Total disposable income x 30% is your approximate monthly rent.
